Keeping your inboard, outboard or jet powered engine serviced even if it isn't used frequently is vital as they are always operating in harsh salt water environments. Due to these harsh conditions the engine is susceptible to corrosion of certain parts and salt water build up. If left for too long these can cause running temperature issues, which is why it is so important that we check the impeller and thermostat when servicing to ensure your engine is operating as it should and to minimise problems and guarantee safety when you are out on the water.  

All our engine services include: compression test, carburettor & fuel system clean & check, remove lower unit & check/replace impeller, gear lube drain & replace, check timing, remove propeller & grease output shaft, grease all nipples & moving parts with marine grease, run up and test. A 10 - 16 page full M.E.D.S diagnostic health check is also available at an extra cost.

If you don't plan on using your boat through the winter months then it is important that you winterise your engine otherwise you might start to find problems arising come spring. Winterisation is very similar to and incorporates a minor engine service. Depending on your boat and engine there are different levels of winterisation but it should always be carried out inline with your manufacturers recommendations.
